Sooo did I tell you…

I’m super scatterbrained sometimes? Ha! So it’s been AWHILE!!

Buttt, yet again I’ve revisited my schedule/daily routine and I think I’m finally on a good and productive track. Fingers crossed!

Anyways, there’s been a lot of changes to the Riggan Homestead since that last time I wrote. I’m going to just do a quick inventory and then I’ll fill in details later!

Of course, it’s spring, so we hatched out and bought some new feathered friends. We added 4 geese, 7 ducks, and 5 chickens…. I’ll get a grand total soon but I have to cull some males. (I’ll explain that too)

I also have found two new loves (hobbies) and the best part is Valentine loves them too! One, we now have two fish tanks, a large one with gold fish and a small one with nano fish. Plus a bunch of other randomness. And apparently, a snail farm. More to come about this too.

And the second is house plants! Wish me luck here, because I really love having a lot of plants but I am also on a learning curve of how to keep them alive. I plan on sharing some things I’ve learned, things we are trying, and some cool hyper-lapse videos!

Last, but certainly not least, I started work part time at A pre-school/daycare. I initially started because I wanted to get Valentine around other kids, but ended up really enjoying it. It’s been a crazy start, but I think it might lead to something I can keep doing, even after Valentine ages out.
